Support Groups

Support Groups at HBC are designed to support, love, encourage, and provide resources for hurting people as well as those who have already walked through struggles. Our groups are filled with people who care and know firsthand that God has a plan for all of us. Through these groups you will find a safe, confidential place to share your heart, build relationships with people who can relate to your situation, discover resources that provide answers to some of your challenges and, through God’s Word, find the reassurance that He is faithful to restore and renew your life. Currently, we are offering the following support groups:

Prayer Ministry – for everyone. Come pray with us as we lift up others and issues to God.

Divorce Care – for those who have been through or are going through the pain of divorce
Marriage Builders – for those considering marriage and those who are married
Financial Peace University - – for those who want to be free from debt and use money wisely

Prayer Ministry / Prayer Meetings
We seek to be a house of prayer for the healing of the nations. Come pray with us Wednesdays at 6:00pm in the auditorium just prior to the service. We also pray at other times throughout the week. If you have prayer requests, contact the office at 573-696-3621 or church@hallsvillebaptist.com

DivorceCare
Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. Each meeting consists of a DVD driven seminar and concludes with open discussion. Each session is self contained, therefore you may join at anytime, no reservations are necessary. Divorce Care classes are offered on a rotating basis so call for the next class start date. Marriage Builders
Marriage Builders is a marriage mentoring program for couples who are considering engagement, marriage, or who are recently married and experiencing difficulties. Marriage Builders provides a point of contact and a source of wise counsel for those desiring to have a marriage that is based on biblical principles. You can get started in Marriage Builders today, you may join at anytime, no reservations are necessary. Childcare is available by reservations only. Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University
Financial Peace University is for everyone! FPU’s mission statement is: “To empower and give hope to everyone from the financially secure to the financially distressed." The program helps you make the right decisions with your money so you can accomplish your financial goals. FPU gives you the Biblical and practical skills needed to be able to walk in financial peace!

A great number of participants have taken the course at HBC in the past year, and hundreds of thousands of lives have been changed nationwide. This is a wonderful, exciting opportunity to learn how to better handle the financial resources you’ve been blessed with. (Please note that participants are not required to disclose or share personal financial information.)

Each two-hour class consists of financial lessons taught via DVD by Dave Ramsey over a 13-week period. Through the entertaining presentations and class discussion, the course covers these essential life-changing topics:
